PARENTING CAN GET COMPLICATED
You’ve tried the advice. You’ve tried being consistent. And you’re still stuck.
Maybe mornings turn into battles before you’ve even had coffee. Getting out the door takes twenty reminders. Bedtime stretches on forever. A simple “no” turns into a meltdown, or you find yourself avoiding certain situations because you already know how they’re going to go.
Sometimes the strategies that are supposed to work just… don’t. That doesn’t necessarily mean you need to try harder. It may mean you need to understand why the behavior keeps happening in the first place.
WHAT PARENT COACHING LOOKS LIKE
You know your child. I bring another way of looking at what’s happening.
01 - UNDERSTAND WHAT'S HAPPENING
02 - DECIDE WHAT TO CHANGE
03 - SEE WHAT WORKS & ADJUST
We look at when and where the behavior happens, what tends to come before and after it, and what your child may be communicating or accomplishing through it
We turn what we learn into practical strategies you can use at home — from changing routines or expectations to responding differently and reinforcing the behaviors you want to see more often.
You try the strategies in real life, we talk through what happened, and we adjust together. What works on paper isn’t always what works for your family.
Parent coaching gives us a chance to slow things down and look at the patterns that can be hard to see when you’re in the middle of them. Together, we’ll look at what’s driving the behavior and figure out what you can do differently to make those difficult moments work better for your child and your family.
GETTING STARTED
We’ll take it one step at a time.
A straightforward process, built around what matters most — your family.

01
FREE 15-MINUTE CALL
We’ll briefly talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping to change, and whether parent coaching seems like the right fit for your family. If your needs fall outside the scope of coaching, I’ll let you know.
02
INITIAL CONSULTATION
Before we meet, you’ll complete some intake information and relevant questionnaires so we can make the most of our time together. During the consultation, we’ll take a deeper look at your concerns, your family’s routines, what you’ve already tried, and what you’d like to change. From there, we’ll identify where it makes sense to start.
03
ONGOING COACHING
In ongoing sessions, we’ll focus on what’s happening now — what’s improving, what still feels difficult, and where you’re getting stuck. We may talk through recent situations, review short video clips together, practice different ways of responding, or adjust strategies based on what’s working at home.

I know that understanding something in theory and living it are two very different things.
AND THEN THERE'S REAL LIFE

I’m a parent, too. I’ve had plenty of moments where I knew all the things I was “supposed” to do and still found myself thinking, Okay... now what? Parenting has a way of making even the things you understand really well feel a lot less straightforward in the moment. It’s one of the reasons I have so much respect for how complicated this job can be.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A few things you may be wondering.
Still have questions? We can talk through them during your free 15-minute call.
No. Parent coaching is not the same as traditional ABA therapy. Rather than providing direct treatment to your child, I work with you to better understand the behavior you’re seeing and develop practical strategies you can use in everyday life. My background as a BCBA absolutely informs how I approach behavior, but the service itself is parent coaching.
No. Parent coaching is not psychotherapy or mental health counseling. Our work is focused on behavior, everyday challenges, and practical changes you can make at home. If something comes up that would be better addressed by a mental health professional or another provider, I’ll be transparent about that.
No. Your child does not need a diagnosis to participate in parent coaching. In fact, coaching can be a good fit for families who are struggling with behavior but don’t qualify for—or don’t need—a more intensive level of support.
My primary work is with you as the parent. Depending on what would be helpful, I may observe you and your child together virtually or review video clips of situations you’d like to discuss, but the coaching itself is focused on giving you the understanding and tools to make changes in everyday life.
Parent coaching can be useful for things like tantrums and meltdowns, difficulty with transitions, bedtime or morning struggles, following directions, recurring power struggles, and other challenging behavior at home. If you’re not sure whether what you’re dealing with is a good fit, that’s exactly what the free call is for.
Yes. Short video clips can be incredibly helpful for looking at what’s happening in real-life situations, and we can review them together during a coaching session. If you have longer videos that would require review outside of our scheduled time, we can discuss that separately before any additional fee is incurred.
Ongoing coaching sessions are scheduled in 60-minute blocks. We’ll spend approximately 45–50 minutes together on Zoom. I reserve the final 10–15 minutes to finalize my notes, document what we discussed, and prepare for our next steps.
There isn’t a set timeline for parent coaching because every family is different. My goal is for you to eventually not need me. As we work together, I want you to become more confident understanding your child’s behavior, recognizing patterns, and knowing how to approach new challenges when they come up. The goal isn’t ongoing dependence on coaching—it’s for you to leave feeling like you have the tools to figure things out.
The initial consultation is $250 and gives us time to really dig into what’s been going on, what you’ve already tried, and where it makes sense to start. Ongoing coaching sessions are $175. Before scheduling anything, we’ll start with a free 15-minute call so you can ask questions and get a feel for whether working together makes sense for your family.
No. Parent coaching is a private-pay service, so I don’t bill insurance. This gives us more flexibility to focus on what’s actually difficult for your family, without needing a specific diagnosis or having insurance determine what we can and can’t work on.
I use Ivy Pay for secure payment processing. Before your first session, you’ll receive a text asking you to add a card to your account. Payment is processed automatically on the morning of each scheduled session, and you’ll receive a text confirmation when it has been processed. A valid form of payment must be on file for your appointment to take place.
I understand that things come up. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.
